11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

My favored translation is NOT King James. Too many Thees and thous etc. English IS my second language.
The Message version is really down to earth in language and the new Passion version is interesting and easy also to read
Thank you but my husband has a new one on the phone not in print yet that I cant wait they put in print so I do what I can. I do not like the NIV much but is like a force that grabs you in the Bible Gateway site. It takes 2 time the work to find the version one wants and everything is in the NIV translation.
