Word of God

giving up my will by faith

one aspect G-d is working on/in me…

i am 42ish years old… grew up i guess selfish, getting my way sometimes, and bitter and resentful if i didn’t have things work how i want…

resourceful however i thought i can make things happen…

that might not be…

looking back through assorted life circumstances, for example, relationships, educations, jobs, etc…

i tried forcing my way through certain circumstances to no avail, and other circumstances met with less or no resistance…

so i ponder is this what G-d alludes too in His Word, where unless He builds it, protects it, that is signing off on it, anything humans do opposite His sign off, is in vain…

fast forwarding one year old delivered, my attitude this year in Christ Jesus as opposed to my attitude outside of Him last year is really death versus life…

i am getting in from work around 415 am…

the past years working on call out of Christ, no days off, 60-100 hours in a week, i would be poisonous, scornful, unpleasant…

this year, i have changed, right now, i am at peace, still tired, yet waiting on L-rd, mounting on wings…

so i am meditating, all in Christ, since we are dead to self, and selfishness is dead, then really what does it matter to me what schedule G-d has me on…

if i submit to Him, accept what He builds, and i just go along, otherwise what i do is in vain, then i can be where He wants me, to accomplish whatever He wants my vessel to do…

in Christ’s Life and Love,

david

“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭127:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
